Our Beginning
The friends of Keep Savannah Beautiful was established in 1979 by resolution of the Mayor and Aldermen in order to help the community combat litter problems. The authority changed its name in 1991, from the Clean City Advisory Council to Friends of Keep Savannah Beautiful.
Keep Savannah Beautiful addresses issues related to litter and assists beautification efforts on streets, sidewalks, parks and private property. We aim to inspire community action and provide resources to help clean and beautify our historic city.
